Course Overview

  • Achieve a higher level of fluency in English language whilst experiencing UK lifestyle and its education system.
  • Study academic subjects alongside British students but without the pressure of sitting exams
  • Ideal for students taking a “gap year” before university studies
  • English language support and services of personal tutor built into the course
  • Flexibility of studying for just four weeks on our Mini International Study Year or up to a full academic year.

Entry requirements: Minimum English language level B2

Minimum five passes at GCSE level or equivalent.

Please note that although students aged 16-18 are classified as adults in respect of their eligibility for this course, they are subject to stricter rules on supervision, details of which can be found here.

The college is closed one day each term for staff training.

At a state college in the UK for 16-18 year olds you do not attend school 9am-4pm but attend at certain times during the week and the rest of the time you are preparing for classes and doing homework.

There are no lessons on Saturdays or Sundays.
