You will study a full range of knowledge and skills based units:
Health, safety and security in aviation Effective communication and customer service Airline emergency procedures Passenger baggage procedures Role of air cabin crew on board Making passenger announcements on board an aircraft Selling products and services to customers Airport check-in
Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.
You will be assessed through Written graded assignments and practical tasks Portfolio of evidence Role play Presentations
Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew and Aviation
You can progress onto:
Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism
You will also be suitably trained for jobs with a travel agent or tour operator as well as working for a hotel or airline in a customer service role.
You will be required to attend a mandatory training day with an airline to cover essential practical skills Costs can be discussed during interview
Please note cabin crew and airport work requires you to be 18+.
