Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English or maths at grade 4.
Assessment: You will be assessed on a continuous assessment basis with assignments at specific times throughout the year. Assessment methods include essay writing, presentations and practical observations.
Duration: 1 year Equivalent to: 1.5 A-Levels
On completion of this course you may progress to complete 3 A-Levels after year 2 – The BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity Development.
Learners may wish to progress to year 2 to complete the Level 3 Extended Diploma, which is an additional 8 units. To do so you must achieve the Foundation Diploma.
Cost of the course will be approximately £100 which covers: uniform/induction activities & a compulsory qualification in sports coaching.
