You will learn to organise, manage and extend your learning to support your existing subjects and develop the personal study skills required to be successful at A Level. This will include learning how to; locate, retrieve and store information, produce and respond to written materials for a variety of purposes, use IT to organise, edit and compile information and make positive contributions to discussions.

The course forms part of the 'Progress to A-Level' programme and will both support your GCSE courses and equip you with the personal study skills required for success at A-Level Study.
You will explore the process of organising and planning your learning, gathering, storing, referencing and assessing information, and producing or presenting a range of information. You will develop your ability to make positive contributions in learning through collaboration and team work.
There will be the opportunity to apply these new skills through researching a career path, completing a team challenge or by producing an extended piece of writing.
You will create a portfolio to evidence your study skills which can be used in college or job interviews and attend a graduation on completion of the Progress to A-Level programme.
Our general entry criteria to study 3 A-Levels is: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 5. For a mixed Level 3 programme the criteria are: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 4. Subject specific entry criteria apply:
