Student Visas

East Sussex College is awarded Student Sponsor - Track Record status on the Register of Licensed Sponsors: Students. We have permission by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to enrol international students on courses longer than 6 months.

Which visa do i need?

The type of visa you need depends on your course and your nationality.

If you are studying on an English language course for up to 11 months, you should apply for a Short-term study visa.

If you are coming to study on a further or higher education course, you should apply for a Student visa.

Some students can study in the UK for up to six months without a visa. Certain nationalities may need to apply for a Standard Visitor visa.
