Lewes Campus
Our on-campus residence, Caburn House, is for students aged 18 or over who would like to live with other international students.
The residence is on East Sussex College Lewes campus and is only a three-minute walk from the main college buildings.
Opposite the residence is the Lewes community leisure centre, which has an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, gym, climbing wall and athletics track.
Lewes is located in the South Downs National Park. Behind the residence, you can see the beautiful Sussex Downs hills.
The town centre is a 10-minute walk away and has a range of restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarkets. Lewes train station in only a five-minute walk away from the residence.
Please note that the on-campus residence is a very popular. You can prepare your own meals in the shared kitchen facilities.

Your safety is important to us.
Security staff are on site during the night, and the Reception office is open at different times during the day. Security cameras monitor the entrance and the area around the residence.
Visitors are welcome during the day and must sign the Guest Register Book when they arrive.
Overnight guests are not allowed unless you have permission from the Accommodation Manager. You need to request this in advance.
You can buy a bed pack for £35. It includes a pillow, pillowcase, sheet, duvet and duvet cover.
You can order a bed pack before you arrive or when you arrive.
Washing machines and dryers (coin operated) are available on site 24 hours-a-day. The current cost to wash and dry a large load of laundry is £5.40.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
During the warmer months, you can use the outdoor patio area.
Secure luggage storage is available if you return to your home country or travel during the summer. The current fee is £10 per item for he summer holiday period.
If you would like travel, medical or personal possessions insurance while you study with us, we recommend Howden (formly Endsleigh).
